Gender Affirming Care

Zami is one of the founding staff members for Gender Health SF formerly known as Transgender Health Services (THS), which is the first public health program in the country to offer gender affirming surgeries to Trans and Non-binary people on state health insurance (medi-cal). Since then, Zami has been working as  capacity building and technical assistance provider for gender affirming care, inclusion and health equity.
